01

The leveling-first rule

First Aid is a secondary skill, so it complements your primary professions. Turn surplus cloth into bandages after reserving what Tailoring needs. Train at sensible travel points and carry only the bandages appropriate to your current health pool. The goal is safer recovery, not converting every cloth drop immediately.

02

Levels 1–20: Linen and Wool from normal quests

Westfall, Loch Modan, Darkshore, The Barrens and Silverpine contain many humanoid objectives. The Deadmines and Wailing Caverns add dungeon quests and cloth-bearing enemies. Make bandages in town or while the group is genuinely paused, and keep enough cloth to sell if training or weapon skills matter more.

03

Levels 20–35: build a reliable emergency stack

Duskwood, Wetlands, Hillsbrad, Ashenvale and Stonetalon provide Wool and early Silk. Stockades, Shadowfang Keep, Blackfathom Deeps and Razorfen Kraul are natural dungeon-quest sources. Practice using a bandage after control, line of sight or combat rather than assuming it can rescue every dangerous pull.

04

Levels 35–50: Silk and Mageweave

Stranglethorn, Arathi, Desolace, Badlands, Tanaris and the Hinterlands keep cloth tied to active quests. Scarlet Monastery is especially dense, with Razorfen Downs, Uldaman, Zul’Farrak and Maraudon continuing the dungeon path. Complete the live First Aid training quests when your route and character level make the travel sensible.

05

Levels 50–60: Runecloth and endgame preparation

Felwood, the Plaguelands, Burning Steppes and Winterspring provide high-level humanoid and undead cloth drops. Blackrock Depths, Dire Maul, Scholomance and Stratholme combine important quests with Runecloth. Bring a current bandage stack, but rely on proper group play rather than treating bandages as a replacement for healing.

06

Dungeon habit

Use bandages during safe windows and communicate if you are recovering instead of silently falling behind. Do not stop between every pull to top off a trivial amount. Share emergency supplies when helpful, and finish crafting after the run so quest momentum stays intact.

07

Catch-up farms

The best cloth farm is usually the humanoid quest hub you have not finished. If you need a focused session, choose enemies near your level in Westfall or The Barrens, Hillsbrad or Wetlands, Stranglethorn or Tanaris, then the Plaguelands or Blackrock regions. Stop once bandages match your current content.
