01

When to go

Plan to enter Blasted Lands during levels 45–55. This is a recommended questing band, not a promise that every creature and quest fits the entire range. Arriving a level or two above the lower edge usually makes solo routing smoother.

02

Suggested quest flow

Use this hub order as a flexible spine: Nethergarde or Dreadmaul approach → central wildlife → Tainted Scar → Dark Portal. Pick up quests in batches, finish objectives that overlap geographically and return before your log becomes too full for follow-up chains.

03

What the zone is about

Blasted Lands is strongest as a questing experience built around dangerous open ground, collection chains and the shadow of the Dark Portal. Read the opening breadcrumbs before optimising; they explain why you are moving between the major hubs.

04

Dungeon and group connections

High-level demons make southern travel risky. Elite quests are optional: group when convenient, but do not let one stalled objective stop the wider route.

05

Where to go next

Burning Steppes or Western Plaguelands. Classic-style leveling works best as overlapping zone bands, so expect to leave and return rather than clearing every quest in one uninterrupted pass.

Recommended flowNethergarde or Dreadmaul approach → central wildlife → Tainted Scar → Dark Portal
