01

When to go

Plan to enter Swamp of Sorrows during levels 35–45. This is a recommended questing band, not a promise that every creature and quest fits the entire range. Arriving a level or two above the lower edge usually makes solo routing smoother.

02

Suggested quest flow

Use this hub order as a flexible spine: Stonard or border entry → Misty Valley → Pool of Tears → temple approaches. Pick up quests in batches, finish objectives that overlap geographically and return before your log becomes too full for follow-up chains.

03

What the zone is about

Swamp of Sorrows is strongest as a questing experience built around widely spaced objectives, swamp travel and strong Horde logistics. Read the opening breadcrumbs before optimising; they explain why you are moving between the major hubs.

04

Dungeon and group connections

The Sunken Temple becomes relevant later. Elite quests are optional: group when convenient, but do not let one stalled objective stop the wider route.

05

Where to go next

Blasted Lands or Hinterlands; Riverglades offers a new alternative. Classic-style leveling works best as overlapping zone bands, so expect to leave and return rather than clearing every quest in one uninterrupted pass.

Recommended flowStonard or border entry → Misty Valley → Pool of Tears → temple approaches
