When to go
Plan to enter The Hinterlands during levels 40–50. This is a recommended questing band, not a promise that every creature and quest fits the entire range. Arriving a level or two above the lower edge usually makes solo routing smoother.
Suggested quest flow
Use this hub order as a flexible spine: Aerie Peak or Revantusk Village → Quel’Danil → troll country → Jintha’Alor. Pick up quests in batches, finish objectives that overlap geographically and return before your log becomes too full for follow-up chains.
What the zone is about
The Hinterlands is strongest as a questing experience built around excellent faction-specific hubs, wild terrain and elite troll objectives. Read the opening breadcrumbs before optimising; they explain why you are moving between the major hubs.
Dungeon and group connections
Jintha’Alor strongly favours a group. Elite quests are optional: group when convenient, but do not let one stalled objective stop the wider route.
Where to go next
Searing Gorge, Blasted Lands or the Plaguelands. Classic-style leveling works best as overlapping zone bands, so expect to leave and return rather than clearing every quest in one uninterrupted pass.
