The testing window
The beta began on 17 September and Blizzard lists 21 October as the last full day of testing. Invitations are being issued to selected opt-in players, while eligible digital bundles also include access. Blizzard notes that newly granted access can take a short time to appear and may require restarting the Battle.net launcher.
What is available
The opening test begins with a level cap of 20, planned to rise to 30 later. Initial content includes the Skyborne starting experience on Zephras Isle, the Hall of Thanes dungeon for roughly levels 13–18, the Ruins of Lordaeron for roughly levels 15–20 and broader zone content through level 20. More zones, dungeons and the new battleground are scheduled to appear as testing continues.
How access works
Players selected through the opt-in process should find the Forever Beta under the In Development section of the Battle.net game-version menu. Blizzard advises checking the WoW account licences attached to your Battle.net account rather than trusting an unexpected email, particularly when an invitation looks suspicious.
The Fellowship take
Use beta time to test routes, class feel, quest clarity and bugs—not to optimise progress that may not represent launch. Keep notes on confusing quest chains and reproducible problems, and send feedback through the official testing channels while changes can still be made.
