What it does
Live prices without the clutter
Live order book
Select a result to see commodity price levels or individual auctions, including quantity, sellers, price, and time remaining.
Instant event updates
The window repaints as soon as WoW delivers auction result events. Live mode also requests a selected-item refresh every three seconds when the game throttle is ready.
Helpful reminder
An attached bar reminds you to update live prices at the Auction House whenever the interface is opened offline.
Honest live data
As immediate as the client allows
WoW addons cannot bypass the Auction House server or Blizzard’s query limits. WoW Forever Auction listens to the client’s result events and redraws immediately, then uses a guarded three-second loop for the selected item. If the auction service is busy, the addon waits instead of spamming queries.
Scope: version 0.1.2 is a browsing and price-comparison companion. Buying, bidding, cancelling, and posting remain in Blizzard’s standard Auction House interface.
Installation
Install in four steps
- Download WoWForeverAuction 0.1.2.
- Extract the ZIP into your
World of Warcraft/_forever_/Interface/AddOns/folder. - Confirm the extracted folder is named
WoWForeverAuctionand containsWoWForeverAuction.toc. - Enable it in the AddOns list. Left-click its minimap button to open the interface anywhere.

No external connection
The addon reads only Auction House information exposed by the WoW client. It contains no analytics, advertising, uploads, external networking, or required libraries. Watchlist and recent selections are stored locally in WoW’s SavedVariables.
