Pick the Alliance because its races, zones and social identity appeal to you. Population forecasts and launch-week advantages are temporary; enjoying the places and characters around you lasts much longer.
Your first community step
Introduce yourself in the Fellowship forum with your planned class, time zone and spoiler preference. The Fellowship is cross-faction; choosing Alliance does not split you from the wider community.
