Felwood

Arrival, services and level planning

Pick up the southern Cenarion and settlement errands first. Learn faction-appropriate flight routes and keep cleansing or reputation work separate from one-time quest progress.

Use levels 48–55 as a flexible visiting band. Check each quest’s minimum level, faction and class requirements; dungeon and endgame quests may exceed the outdoor band.

The route through the zone

1. Southern cleansing tasks

   Collect the opening corruption and wildlife quests together. Read collection requirements before leaving the sanctuary so you bring the correct supplies.

2. Central camps

   Work corrupted creature and camp objectives in northbound batches. Cave tasks take longer than open-road errands and deserve a separate retreat plan.

3. Northern approach

   Complete Timbermaw-related tasks and inspect your reputation before using the tunnel. Hostile passage can disrupt the intended route to Winterspring or Moonglade.

   Defeat the Jaedenar hounds, guardians, adepts and cultists for Greta Mosshoof.

3. Collection of the Corrupt Water

   Collect Corrupt Moonwell Water for Greta Mosshoof as her Jaedenar investigation continues.

4. Cleansing Felwood

   Alliance · Normal · Quest level 55 · Minimum 48

   Bring fifteen pieces of Blood Amber to Arathandris Silversky to unlock the Alliance cleansing work.

5. Cleansing Felwood

   Horde · Normal · Quest level 55 · Minimum 48

   Collect fifteen pieces of Blood Amber for Maybess Riverbreeze to begin the Horde cleansing work.

6. Dousing the Flames of Protection

   Both · Chain · Quest level 55 · Minimum 48

   Douse the four protective braziers inside Jaedenar, then return to Greta Mosshoof.

7. A Final Blow

   Both · Chain · Quest level 58 · Minimum 48

   Defeat Shadow Lord Fel’dan and his named allies, then return the head to Greta Mosshoof for an armor choice.

Hazards and group preparation

Corrupted camps and caves have dense respawns. Timbermaw reputation affects safe tunnel travel; attacking friendly or neutral furbolgs can undermine that access.

Dungeon and group connections

There is no dungeon in Felwood. Group for elite cave or named targets when convenient, and treat repeatable reputation farming as optional progression.

Move on when your remaining objectives require a group, are too difficult, or involve more travel than progress. Return later for unfinished stories.
